Gail Thurman

Gail Thurman, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), a 2001 graduate of T’ai Institute of Oriental Medicine in Florida, has been licensed in Florida and Arizona. Gail has practiced in Arizona since 2006 and maintains an active private practice in the Northwest Valley.


Thurman’s focus is to provide her patients with the tools to support their individual journey’s, as there is no “one size fits all” quick fix. Her “toolbox” reflects many modalities within Asian medicine treatment methods. Again, not everyone is receptive to one form of treatment, it is the goal of the acupuncturist to identify the best means to assist the patient, through Asian diagnosis.


Here are some of the tools she uses; Tuina, Gwa Sha, Cupping, Qi Gong, Moxibustion, Yoga and Meditation.


Thurman training includes; Five Element Seasonal Treatments, Toyo Hari Japanese Acupuncture, Auricular (ear) acupuncture, Dinsha Color Therapy, Tuning Forks, etc..
